SNOW IN THE GROVE
On Monday December 7th, our Grove received an unusual surprise. A relatively substantial amount of snow! While mandarins do like cold nights, freezing temperatures can be damaging to the quality and condition of the fruit. Luckily, the canopy of the trees provides a great deal of protection and in our location, temperatures below freezing usually don't last long enough to do severe damage. Despite the snow, the rain and the winds, we still had a wonderful crop. The fruit was sweet, juicy, and simply - delicious!

We are no longer shipping mandarins. We look forward to another bountiful crop for 2010.

MANDARINS

Our mandarin trees were wonderful producers this year! With all the mandarins cleaned off the trees, they are now resting and preparing for the next season. Our grove is now a sea of green.
In the spring, the first hints of blooms will start to show and the grove will come alive with large white blooms.
